Bottled Simplicity

A Finnish industrial designer shows us perhaps the most radical shift in packaging design over the last count-’em-yaself years.

Such a simple idea, born of insight into what’s missing in the current design.  The knock-on affects are huge; the packaging becomes a design centre-piece, it’s sure to become an icon (cool tables must have this in the middle and savvy innovators will wear it on a belt next to their iPhone), there’s fantastic differentiation & should spawn a whole wave of augmented packaging designs & products (what about a bottle shaped donut, huh).
